This facility operates as a Critical Access Hospital and maintains a Level I Obstetrics and Newborn Nursery Unit to support obstetric and gynecologic care delivery. The facility utilizes the EPIC EMR system for clinical documentation and maintains established clinical protocols and structured workflows. On-site resources are configured to support continuous obstetric and gynecologic care across all assigned coverage periods.

The assignment area is a small community in northwest Ohio offering a range of recreational and cultural activities suited to varied interests. Notable destinations include Old Fort Defiance Park, Auglaize Village, and the Marathon Center for the Performing Arts, which hosts live performances and musical acts throughout the year. Dining, local shopping, and outdoor spaces such as Independence Dam State Park are among the additional options available to clinicians during time away from clinical responsibilities.

Clinicians will provide full scope obstetric and gynecologic coverage through 24-hour pager call shifts on an on-site basis, with coverage needed urgently in December and January. Clinical responsibilities encompass the full scope of obstetric and gynecologic care, supported by midlevel staff throughout each designated assignment period. Clinical documentation is conducted using the EPIC EMR system. Call coverage is a required component of this assignment, and board certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology is required for all clinicians considered for this position.
