The facility operates as a psychiatric hospital delivering outpatient primary care services to an adult patient population with mental health disorders. The facility maintains established clinical workflows and structured protocols to support consistent and coordinated care delivery throughout the assignment period. On-site clinical support staff, including physicians, advanced practice providers, medical assistants, and behavioral health specialists, are available to assist with daily clinical operations.

The area offers clinicians on assignment access to a range of historical, cultural, and recreational attractions suited to varied interests. Points of interest include a national historic site along the Santa Fe Trail where visitors can explore historic buildings and take horse-drawn carriage rides, as well as a regional museum and research library and a state historic park that provide additional opportunities to engage with the region's history. Local parks, a splash pad, and shops offer leisure options for those seeking a relaxed visit during time away from the assignment.

Clinicians will provide outpatient primary care services to an adult patient population at an on-site facility, working Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM on a day shift schedule. The expected caseload is 12-17 patients per day, with clinical responsibilities encompassing the evaluation and management of primary care conditions for adults with mental health disorders. No call coverage is required for this assignment, and board certification and prescriptive authority are required. On-site support staff includes MDs, APPs, medical assistants, and behavioral health specialists to facilitate daily clinical operations.
