DELIVERY DRIVER

TRC Talent Solutions is hiring a dependable Delivery Driver for a Birmingham, AL location. This position is responsible for safely transporting and delivering products to customers while maintaining excellent customer service and compliance with company and DOT requirements. No CDL is required. Candidates must be comfortable driving, completing delivery paperwork, performing vehicle inspections, and assisting with loading and unloading materials.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a company vehicle to deliver products to customers.

• Maintain delivery paperwork and obtain required signatures.

• Communicate delivery schedules and arrival times with customers.

• Maintain truck logs and records in compliance with regulations.

• Perform daily vehicle inspections, including tires, brakes, lights, fuel, oil, and fluid levels.

• Assist with loading and unloading materials as needed.

• Follow all company safety policies and traffic laws.

• Occasionally collect payments for delivered products.

Qualifications

• No CDL required.

• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.

• Must pass company driver testing.

• Must pass a DOT physical and drug screening.

• Previous delivery driving experience preferred.

• Experience performing pre-trip and post-trip inspections preferred.

• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.

• Strong attention to safety and customer service.

• Reliable attendance and punctuality.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to work in a physically demanding environment.

• Frequent bending, stretching, pushing, and pulling.

• Must be able to lift and move at least 75 pounds.

• Must be comfortable assisting with unloading deliveries.
