Position: Environmental Services (EVS) Technician

Worksite Address: 18300 Roscoe Boulevard, Northridge, CA 91328

Duration: 3-month contract with potential for an earlier end based on business need

Pay Rate: $20-$23/hr

Work Hours: 2-10:30pm Monday-Friday

Target Start Date: ASAP

Must-Haves

• Previous EVS, housekeeping, janitorial, or facility cleaning experience

• Ability to quickly step into the role with minimal training

Day-to-Day

The ideal candidate is a reliable, professional Environmental Services Technician who can quickly integrate into a hospital EVS team and contribute with minimal ramp-up time. This individual will support the facility's environmental services operations by helping maintain clean and safe spaces throughout the hospital. The position is especially well suited for someone with previous healthcare EVS experience who understands the importance of punctuality, professionalism, and consistency in a patient-care environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine environmental services and cleaning duties throughout the healthcare facility
• Maintain clean and orderly patient-care and common areas
• Complete assigned cleaning responsibilities accurately and consistently
• Follow established facility cleanliness and safety expectations
• Support EVS coverage needs across assigned areas of the hospital
• Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor while working around patients, visitors, and healthcare staff
• Report to scheduled shifts on time and maintain dependable attendance
• Work assigned rotating weekends as part of the regular schedule
• Adapt quickly to the facility's expectations and established workflow
