At Eye Clinic of Wisconsin, our Patient Services Representatives are often the first point of contact for our patients. In this important role, you'll help create a welcoming experience while ensuring patient visits run smoothly and efficiently.
What You'll Do
As a Patient Services Representative, you will:
- Greet patients and visitors in a professional, friendly, and compassionate manner
- Register patients and accurately update demographic and insurance information
- Verify insurance eligibility and obtain necessary authorizations as needed
- Collect copayments and process patient payments
- Provide outstanding customer service while maintaining patient confidentiality
Qualifications
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong organizational and computer skills
- Positive, dependable, and team-oriented attitude
- Previous medical office, customer service, or scheduling experience preferred but not required
Compensation
Starting Pay: $17.50 - $20.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
