Activities Director

The Activity Director plans, organizes, and implements a variety of recreational, social, and therapeutic programs designed to enhance the physical, emotional, and social well-being of residents in an assisted living community.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain a monthly activity calendar that meets the interests and abilities of all residents.

• Lead and participate in group and individual activities.

• Coordinate special events, outings, and community involvement programs.

• Maintain activity records and resident participation logs.

• Collaborate with other departments to promote resident engagement and quality of life.

• Ensure all activities comply with facility policies and state regulations.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent (degree in recreation therapy or related field preferred).

• Experience working with seniors in a healthcare or residential setting.

• Strong communication, creativity, and organizational skills.

• Compassionate, energetic, and team-oriented personality.
