Instructional Designer

**Job Description:

**

We are seeking a creative and motivated Instructional Designer II to develop engaging e-learning courses, virtual training materials, and other learning resources for a five-month project. The ideal candidate has experience with instructional design principles, Articulate tools, and virtual learning environments. Experience using AI tools for training content development is preferred but not required.

**Key Responsibilities

**

• Design and develop e-learning courses, virtual instructor-led training materials, job aids, and other learning resources.

• Apply adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies to create effective learning experiences.

• Collaborate with stakeholders and subject matter experts to gather requirements and develop training content.

• Use Articulate Storyline and/or Rise to create interactive and visually engaging courses.

• Leverage AI tools and strong prompting techniques to support content development where appropriate.

• Upload, test, and maintain learning content within the Learning Management System (LMS).

• Ensure training materials meet branding, accessibility, and quality standards.

• Review content, incorporate stakeholder feedback, and support corporate learning initiatives.

**Required Qualifications

**

• College degree.

• 3–5 years of experience in instructional design, training development, or a related field; less experienced candidates with strong potential may be considered.

• Knowledge of instructional design methodologies and adult learning principles.

• Experience with Articulate Storyline and/or Rise.

• Experience developing content for virtual learning environments.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills, creativity, and visual design skills.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Teams and collaboration tools.

• Experience working in a Windows environment; must not be dependent on Mac.

**Preferred Qualifications

**

• Experience using AI tools and prompt engineering for training content development.

• Experience with SCORM-compliant LMS platforms.

• Familiarity with Cornerstone OnDemand (CSOD) and/or Workday Learning.

• Experience uploading, configuring, and maintaining LMS content.

• Knowledge of multimedia learning assets, virtual training best practices, learner engagement techniques, and learning analytics.
