Overview:

The Store Asset Protection Agent will reduce shrink by detecting, deterring, apprehending, and prosecuting shoplifters.

Responsibilities:

1. Detects,  deters, apprehends, and prosecutes shoplifters.
2. Secures and maintains proper chain of custody of evidence.
3. Documents cases in written reports.
4. Testifies in court proceedings.
5. Operates in a manner that minimizes civil liability.
6. Makes schedule according to specific store needs.
7. Addresses loss prevention issues in stores in order to prevent and/or resolve potential problems.
8. Performs all other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Qualifications:

1. Must be able to handle highly stressful situations.
2. Should possess good oral and written communication skills.
3. Should exhibit good analytical skills, and be self-motivated.
4. Should be able to work with minimal supervision.
