Tool & Die Repair Technician - 3rd Shift
Direct hire and temp-to-hire opportunities available!
Twinsburg, OH
Up to $37.00/hour based on skills and experience
3rd Shift: 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Dauch Corporation, (formerly American Axle & Manufacturing) a leading global supplier of automotive driveline and metal forming products, is hiring for its 3rd-shift die repair team in Twinsburg, Ohio. (formerly American Axle & Manufacturing), a leading automotive supplier known for investing in its employees and promoting from within, is seeking a Die Repair Technician to join the skilled maintenance team.
What You'll Do
- Repair, rebuild, and maintain casting and trim dies
- Troubleshoot tooling issues and perform necessary repairs
- Disassemble, clean, repair, and reassemble dies
- Build and replace die segments, cores, and components from blueprints
- Perform grinding, polishing, welding, and machining work
- Complete maintenance records and work orders
- Support production by making tooling repairs on equipment as needed
- Train and assist new team members when required
Qualifications
- Tool & Die Repair Journeyman Papers preferred
- Associate degree, trade school certification, or equivalent highly skilled tooling experience
- Ability to read blueprints and use precision measuring tools
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Experience repairing casting, stamping, or trim dies preferred
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check
