Truck Dispatcher

The Truck Dispatcher will report to the Operations Manager and coordinate mixed equipment across different routes. This role supports 24/7 dispatch coverage by managing loads, drivers, schedules, delivery updates, and freight documentation while resolving issues and maintaining accurate dispatch records.

Responsibilities

• Dispatch loads and coordinate mixed equipment across different routes.
• Plan efficient routes and schedule loads to support timely deliveries.
• Coordinate drivers and provide clear operational updates.
• Track deliveries and communicate status updates to customers.
• Manage dispatch schedules to maintain 24/7 coverage.
• Prepare and maintain accurate freight documentation and dispatch records.
• Resolve routing, scheduling, delivery, and operational issues.
• Billing using QuickBooks software required after drivers complete loads .

Preferred Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in truck dispatching.
• Experience with Transportation Management Systems and dispatch software.
• Knowledge of route planning and load scheduling.
• Experience in logistics coordination.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• ELD and HOS knowledge required
