Chris Demetriou MD PC is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physician to join our growing practice in Garden City, NY. Responsibilities:
- Examine, diagnose, and treat patients across a range of medical conditions and concerns
- Develop and implement individualized patient care plans and treatment protocols
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, lab work, and imaging studies
- Prescribe medications and therapies in accordance with evidence-based medicine
- Maintain accurate and thorough patient medical records and documentation
- Collaborate with specialists, nurses, and support staff to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Educate patients and families on health management, prevention, and wellness strategies
Requirements:
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution
- Valid and unrestricted New York State medical license
- Board certified or board eligible in relevant specialty
- Current DEA registration and CPR/BLS certification
- Strong clinical decision-making and diagnostic skills
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and bedside manner skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced outpatient or clinical setting
