Molding Operator Compensation

• Pay rate: $16.50 per hour
• Work Schedule Hours 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
  3 days on, 2 days off, 2 days on, 3 days off
  3-2-2-3 Schedule including Weekends

Molding Operator Responsiblities:

• Operate multi-cavity injection molding presses and auxiliary equipment to manufacture products meeting quality specifications.
• Inspect molded components and make appropriate decisions regarding product quality.
• Request technical support as needed to maintain product quality.
• Perform minor maintenance activities on assigned presses.
• Work with molding team members to keep equipment operating during breaks and call-outs.
• Maintain knowledge of department products, required raw materials, and quality specifications.
• Maintain clean, orderly machinery, work areas, and floors while complying with GMP requirements.

Molding Operator QUALIFICATIONS:

Critical Information

• Work hours are 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. on a 3-2-2-3 schedule, including weekends.
• On-site position in a manufacturing environment.
• Background checks must be cleared before beginning work.
• An eye exam is required.
• Must lift up to 50 pounds unassisted.
• Drug screening is not required.
• Steel-toe or composite-toe shoes are required.

Education/Licenses Needed

• High school diploma or GED required.
• One to two years of manufacturing experience preferred, preferably operating electric and hydraulic injection molding presses.
