Technical Product Designer - Accessories and Apparel (Hybrid)

Location: Framingham, MA (2x/week on site, 3x/week remote)Duration: Estimated through April 30, 2027Compensation Range: $35.00 - $45.00 per hourCella is seeking a Product Development Designer on behalf of an established global retail client. This role offers an opportunity to contribute directly to the end-to-end design and execution of seasonal product lines focusing on handbags, accessories, and apparel.Responsibilities:Assists in the creation and development of designs for ladies' apparel.Collaborates with senior designers and cross-functional teams to ensure designs meet quality standards and market demands.Researches fashion trends, including attending trade shows and conducting market research.Create sketches and technical drawings to communicate design concepts.Participates in product development meetings to discuss design ideas, materials, and production techniques.Assists in the selection of materials, colors, and trims for designs.Provides support in the development of quarterly product, including creating mood boards and assisting with fabric and color selections.Collaborates with suppliers and manufacturers to ensure quality production of designs.Stays up-to-date with industry trends, new technologies, and manufacturing techniques. Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design, Apparel Design, or equivalent practical work experience.Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in fashion design or technical product development.Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) across PC and Mac operating environments.Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).Strong technical design background, including understanding of garment and accessory construction, pattern making, and flat sketches.Familiarity with apparel and accessories retail merchandising and production workflows.Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under seasonal deadlines.Demonstrated problem-solving capabilities and clear written and verbal communication skills.JOBID: 112026-167397#LI-CELLA#LI-AU2#PLEqual Opportunity Employer: Race, Color, Religion, Sex, Sexual Orientation, Gender Identity, National Origin, Age, Genetic Information, Disability, Protected Veteran Status, or any other legally protected group status.At Cella, a randstad digital company, we welcome people of all abilities and want to ensure that our hiring and interview process meets the needs of all applicants.
