Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Projected Start: November 30, 2026

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care within the Maternal Child Health unit, including Labor & Delivery, Newborn Nursery, Level II Nursery, Mother-Baby, and GYN patients, utilizing the nursing process in collaboration with the interdisciplinary care team
• Assess and interpret patient data to identify age-specific and individual patient care requirements, applying principles of growth and development across the life span
• Function as a primary RN, demonstrating the knowledge and skills necessary to deliver safe, high-quality care to assigned patients during a designated time frame
• Float to other hospital departments as directed by hospital leadership or the House Supervisor, following the guidance of the Charge Nurse or RN in the assigned area while maintaining standards of care and safety within scope of practice
• Every third weekend is expected as part of the schedule

Required Qualifications

• Current New Mexico RN licensure or Multi-State (Compact) RN licensure
• Basic Life Support (BLS) – American Heart Association, required upon hire
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) – American Heart Association, required upon hire
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification, required upon hire
• AWHONN Fetal Monitoring certification, required upon hire
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant RN experience

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Three years of experience in Labor and Delivery, Newborn Nursery, and/or Med-Surg
• STABLE and/or ALSO certification
• Baby Friendly experience
• Proficiency with Meditech or a comparable EMR documentation system
