Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13 Weeks | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts | Every Other Weekend | No Blocked Scheduling

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the Emergency Department, supporting a facility that sees up to 350 ER patients per month
• Float between the Emergency Department and Med/Surg as needed, consistent with the critical access model of care
• Demonstrate flexibility and the ability to perform multiple nursing duties across departments during a single assignment
• Chart accurately and efficiently using Cerner
• Adhere to facility dress code: solid navy scrubs preferred; any solid color acceptable
• Note: Orientation is conducted on Tuesdays only

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license valid for practice in Nebraska
• BLS certification (AHA)
• ACLS certification (AHA)
• PALS (AHA or ENPC)
• TNCC certification
• Minimum 2+ years of experience in ER and/or Med-Surg nursing
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• Local candidates (within 50 miles of the facility) are welcome to apply

Preferred Experience / Skills

• NIHSS certification
• CPI certification
• SANE certification
• Experience working in a critical access or small/rural hospital setting
