Job Title

Travel RN – Inpatient Holding (Night Shift) | 13-Week Contract

Location

Houston, TX | Inpatient

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13 Weeks | Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | Alternating weekends and holidays

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a 14-bed Inpatient Hold Unit with a 1:6 nurse-to-patient ratio
• Operate and monitor cardiac monitors, vital sign machines, and IV pumps
• Perform IV insertion, lab draws, and Foley catheter insertion
• Document patient care accurately using Meditech Expanse EMR
• Float to Med/Surg and IMU units as needed
• Collaborate with a team-oriented staff including nurses and patient care technicians

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Texas or compact eligibility
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience
• Locals are welcome to apply

Preferred Experience / Skills

• ACLS certification
• Acute care or ICU experience
• Experience in a trauma facility setting
• Telemetry background
