Contract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Projected Start: December 2026

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care across Maternal Child Health areas including Labor & Delivery, Newborn Nursery, Level II Nursery, Mother-Baby, and GYN using the nursing process in collaboration with the interdisciplinary care team
• Assess and interpret patient data to identify age-specific and condition-specific patient needs, applying principles of growth and development across the life span
• Function as primary RN for an assigned patient group during a designated time frame, maintaining accountability for care quality and safety
• Float to other hospital departments as directed by hospital leadership or the House Supervisor, following the guidance of the Charge Nurse or RN in the assigned area while maintaining standards of care within scope of practice
• Every third weekend is expected as part of the regular schedule

Required Qualifications

• Current New Mexico RN licensure or Multi-State (Compact) RN licensure
• Basic Life Support (BLS) – American Heart Association – required upon hire
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) – American Heart Association – required upon hire
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) – required upon hire
• AWHONN Fetal Monitoring Certification – required upon hire
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in Labor & Delivery, Nursery, and Med-Surg

Preferred Experience / Skills

• STABLE certification preferred
• ALSO (Advanced Life Support in Obstetrics) certification preferred
• Baby Friendly hospital experience preferred
• Proficiency with Meditech or a comparable EMR documentation system preferred
