Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00–19:30) | Variable Days | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in an ICU setting maintaining a 2:1 patient-to-nurse ratio
• Perform neurological assessments utilizing NIHSS as required
• Float to other affiliated facilities within the health system as needed based on staffing requirements
• Complete required compliance modules during pre-start and annually as directed

Required Qualifications

• Active California Registered Nurse (RN) License
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required
• AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
• Minimum 2 years of ICU experience at a 2:1 patient-to-nurse ratio
• COVID-19 vaccination and booster required; proof must be provided at time of submission
• Prior travel nursing experience within the last 12 months required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a teaching hospital setting
• Familiarity with large academic or multi-facility health system environments
