Qualifications & Experience Desired:

• Previous experience working with children or in an educational setting is highly valued
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with students, teachers, and staff

• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional coursework in education or special education preferred

Role Responsibilities:

• Assist teachers in classroom activities and provide direct support to students, including those with special needs
• Foster a safe, welcoming atmosphere that encourages student participation
• Help implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) under teacher guidance
• Supervise students during classroom transitions, on field trips, and during recess/lunch periods
• Support classroom management and maintain accurate records as needed
• Collaborate with teachers and specialists to address student challenges and celebrate milestones
