Key Qualifications:

• Rhode Island Teacher Assistant (RI TA) Certification required
• Previous experience as a paraprofessional or in a classroom support role strongly preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to adapt to diverse learning needs and work collaboratively with teaching staff
• Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive educational environment

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide instructional support to teachers and students within various classroom settings
• Assist in the adaptation and implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Support students with academic, behavioral, and social development as needed
• Cultivate an encouraging, safe, and respectful space for all students
• Help with classroom organization, activity preparation, and resource distribution
• Communicate progress and observations to teachers and administrative staff
