Job Overview

We are seeking a dependable and patient-focused Radiologic Technologist (X-Ray) to join a mobile diagnostic imaging team serving healthcare facilities throughout the San Jose, California area.

This opportunity is ideal for an ARRT-certified technologist who enjoys working independently, traveling to different healthcare facilities, and providing quality diagnostic imaging services.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform mobile diagnostic X-ray examinations at nursing homes, healthcare facilities, and other assigned locations.

- Operate mobile X-ray equipment and obtain high-quality diagnostic images according to physician orders.

- Position patients appropriately and provide clear instructions to ensure comfort and cooperation.

- Follow radiation safety protocols and established imaging procedures.

- Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation.

- Transport, operate, and maintain mobile imaging equipment.

- Travel between assigned facilities and manage daily imaging schedules.

- Provide professional and compassionate patient care.

- Maintain equipment readiness and support daily mobile imaging operations.

- Assist with EKG services when required.

Required Qualifications

- Active ARRT certification in Radiography (R).

- Current California Radiologic Technologist license.

- Valid driver's license and ability to travel to assigned facilities.

- Strong patient care and communication skills.

- Ability to work independently in a mobile imaging environment.

- Ability to push, pull, and maneuver mobile imaging equipment weighing approximately 50–100 lbs.

- Availability for varied shifts, weekends, and possible on-call responsibilities.

- COVID-19 vaccination or acceptable exemption documentation, as required by employer policy.
