Instructional Aide - Camp Hill, PA

The primary focus is on supporting elementary students in Autism Support Classrooms, creating an inclusive and encouraging atmosphere that fosters learning and growth.

Qualified candidates will work directly with certified teachers, assisting in classroom management, individualized instruction, and providing hands-on help for students with unique needs. Your compassion, skill, and dedication will make a direct impact on student achievement and well-being.

Qualifications:

• Active CPR and First Aid certification (in-person training only; virtual certificates are not accepted)
• High school diploma (must provide a copy upon placement)
• Minimum of 1.5 years of paraprofessional or directly related experience in a school setting
• Strong commitment to supporting students with autism and diverse learning requirements
• Dependable, flexible, and able to work as part of a collaborative team

Responsibilities:

• Partner with lead teachers to implement classroom routines and activities
• Deliver 1:1 or small group support to students with developmental, academic, or behavioral needs
• Assist with a variety of instructional and non-instructional tasks as needed
• Contribute to a safe, positive, and responsive classroom environment
• Participate in training, meetings, and ongoing professional development as required
