Cycle Counter

Our client in the Auburn Hills area is  seeking a Cycle Counter to join their team. As a Cycle Counter you will be responsible for maintaining inventory accuracy through regular and systematic counting of stock. This role ensures that physical inventory matches system records, identifies discrepancies and supports continuous improvement in inventory control processes.

Location: Auburn HIlls 

Pay Range: $18 to $19

Shift: 1st Shift

What’s the Job?

1. Conduct scheduled and ad-hoc cycle counts based on ABC classification and/or other inventory strategies.

1. Compare physical counts with system records and investigate discrepancies. Document findings and recommend corrective actions.

1. Update inventory systems (e.g., WMS, ERP) with accurate count data. Generate and submit inventory reports to management.

1. Assist in identifying causes of inventory variances and collaborate with teams to resolve and prevent future issues.

1. Help locate misplaced items, verify bin locations, and assist warehouse staff in finding stock.

1. Safely operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, order pickers, pallet jacks, and scanners.

What do I need?

• Inventory control experience managing and reconciling inventory discrepancies.
• Knowledge in Microsoft Outlook and Excel
• Warehouse Management Systems, familiar with SAP and scanners.
• Forklift and warehouse equipment
