  • Execute terminations and detailed PLC troubleshooting; apply programming understanding as needed to resolve control system issues.
  • Assist with high-voltage outages and preventive maintenance activities, ensuring safe and efficient restoration of power.
  • Support mechanical repairs when needed, particularly on medium to large drive couplings, brakes, and reduction gearboxes, in coordination with mechanics and millwrights.
  • Contribute to modernization projects for new equipment and upgraded systems across terminal sites.
  • Work from blueprints, wiring schematics, manuals, and verbal instructions from leadership or third-party sources to complete electrical and instrumentation tasks.
  • Install, assemble, and maintain industrial control panels, instrumentation, and control systems, ensuring proper wiring and functionality.
  • Apply strong working knowledge of Ohms Law and extensive PLC troubleshooting techniques in daily diagnostic and repair activities.
  • Support and maintain diverse electrical systems, including Emerson PLCs, Control Techniques VFDs and DC drives, bulk cargo belt scales, wireless radios, site networking equipment, and 120V4160V motor controls.
