Job Description
Help Us Protect Homes and Pools

At KIK Consumer Products, our purpose is simple: create products and brands people rely on to clean, sanitize, and safeguard their homes and pools. As a global manufacturer with 16 facilities across North America and teams operating in Canada, Europe, South Africa, and Australia, we bring trusted names like Spic and Span®, Comet®, Clorox® Pool&Spa™ (under license), BioGuard®, and Natural Chemistry® to life—alongside leading private‑label offerings. Guided by our “One KIK” values, we move fast, collaborate deeply, and make principled, fact‑based decisions.

Is This You?
  • Do you enjoy translating lab data into clear guidance for production teams?
  • Are titrations, pH checks, and methodical documentation second nature to you?
  • Do you thrive on evenings, balancing multiple tests while maintaining calibration and retain programs?
The Opportunity

We’re adding a Quality Technician 1 to our 2nd Shift (Monday–Thursday, 4:00 pm–2:30 am), with overtime as needed. You’ll perform analytical and physical tests on raw materials, in‑process, and finished goods; maintain pristine records and retains; conduct basic instrument calibrations; and support investigations to keep product quality on target.

How You’ll Make an Impact
  • Apply approved analytical methods—titrations and wet chemistry—to deliver accurate, timely results.
  • Confirm conformity of materials and finished goods to chemical/physical specifications and referenced drawings/specifications.
  • Document thoroughly in lab notebooks, spreadsheets, and quality systems; communicate any out‑of‑spec findings to production and quality leaders.
  • Oversee the Quality Retain / First Sample Retention Program, including correct labeling, storage, tracking, and disposition.
  • Maintain an organized, clean laboratory; track and reorder reagents and supplies.
  • Complete routine instrument checks and basic calibrations (balances, pH meters, titration equipment), with full documentation.
  • Participate in investigations and basic root‑cause analysis for nonconforming product; compile data and assist corrective actions.
  • Audit in‑process inspections for method compliance and documentation; help address defects and escalate quality events when required.
  • Embody safety first and support housekeeping initiatives across lab and plant areas.
What You’ll Need to Succeed
  • High school diploma or GED (required); Associate’s degree or college chemistry coursework (preferred).
  • 2+ years in a quality, lab, or QA role within manufacturing or chemical environments.
  • Ability to interpret SOPs, product specs, drawings, and other technical documents.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word for data entry, trend analysis, and basic reporting.
  • Excellent documentation habits, keen attention to detail, and comfort managing multiple priorities.
  • Ability to work with fumes/chemicals while wearing PPE; stand for prolonged periods; lift up to 50 lbs with assistance.
Perks & Benefits

Competitive compensation; comprehensive medical, dental, vision, life, and disability coverage; retirement savings with employer match; and Education Assistance to fuel your growth.
