Inventory Control Clerk - Now Hiring

Our client, Light Industrial is seeking a Inventory Control Clerk on  2nd Shift to join their team. As a Inventory Control Clerk on 2nd Shift, you will be part of the Warehouse Operations supporting Inventory Control and Distribution activities. The ideal candidate will have previous forklift skills, inventory skills , and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Inventory Control Clerk  2nd Shift

Location: Altavista, VA

Pay Range: $16.55

Shift: 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM

What's the Job?

• Receive materials and ensure they are accurately stored in the warehouse.
• Accurately prepare orders for shipping to customer sites according to established process.
• Label and meter packages using various freight systems.
• Process orders using the SJM ERP system.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment within the warehouse, including daily preparations for the following day’s distribution activities.

What's Needed?

• Ability to pass a background check and urine drug screen, and provide proof of education.
• High School/GED required.
• At least 1 year of relevant experience.
• Ability to use a forklift for loading, unloading, staging, and putting away product.
• Experience or strong familiarity with inventory control practices.
