Warehouse Manager  

My name is Bill Stevens, and I have a new contract to hire Warehouse Manager opportunity available for a major firm located in Glen Burnie, Maryland that could be of interest to you, please review my specification below and I am available at any time to speak with you so please feel free to call me. This is a second shift position, the hours are 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM.

This position pays $25.00 per hour.

Qualifications:

Previous management or supervisory experience in transportation, logistics, distribution, or warehouse operations.

Experience supervising drivers and warehouse personnel.

Familiarity with commercial vehicle maintenance scheduling and fleet operations.

Strong leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to manage competing priorities and make sound decisions with limited supervision.

Willingness and ability to assist with loading trucks and handling freight.

Familiarity with DOT requirements, hours-of-service rules, and transportation safety practices preferred.

Experience with Samsara or similar warehouse management systems would be a plus.

Schedule:

Afternoon/evening shift, with flexibility to remain until trucks are loaded, operational responsibilities are completed, and the facility is secured.
