Job Description:

The Dishwasher operates the dishwasher in a very busy, fast-paced environment, to ensure alldishes, utensils, and cooking equipment remains clean and spotless. Stocks and re-stocks allsupplies in the assigned areas. Safely operates, cleans and sanitizes equipment and work spaces.Handles and prepares food and performs general and deep-cleaning kitchen duties in compliancewith department and facility policies and procedures and state and federal laws and regulations.Provides the cooks assistance with portioning and entry level food preparation. Assists otherdepartment personnel with tasks as necessary and performs all other assigned duties.

Responsibilities:

• Assists the cooks with a variety of food portioning and entry-level food preparation as needed.
• Cleans and sanitizes work stations before and after all food prep. Handles, prepares, cooks, labels, stores, and disposes of all food according to all HAACP and department policies.
• Assists the servers with bussing tables during busy service times in the dining room.
• Replenishes supply of clean dishes, utensils and cooking equipment to their necessary stations or areas.

Requirements/Qualifications:

• Two years of relevant experience is preferred, but not required.
• High School diploma (or equivalent) is preferred, but not required.
• Sufficient education and understanding of the English language to demonstrate functional literacy.
• Solve practical problems with a variety of variables using critical thinking and basic math skills.
