Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical / Telemetry

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical / Telemetry unit
• Monitor and interpret telemetry, cardiac telemetry, and related patient data
• Document all patient care activities accurately using EPIC EMR
• Administer and manage medications using the Omnicell medication system
• Provide weekend coverage on a rotating basis (every other weekend, subject to unit needs)
• Floating to other units or facilities is required based on census needs; staff will only float to units for which competencies have been demonstrated and documented

Required Qualifications

• Active South Carolina Registered Nurse (RN) license
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• NIHSS certification required
• Minimum 1 year of recent clinical experience in a Medical Surgical or Telemetry setting
• Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience with EPIC EMR
• Must reside more than 100 miles from all system facilities to be eligible at full rate; candidates between 90–99.9 miles may be considered at a reduced rate

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in Telemetry, ER Holding, or Cardiac Telemetry settings
• Familiarity with the Omnicell medication management system
• Prior travel nursing experience; first-time travelers may be considered based on overall experience
