Pharmacy tech

Job Responsibilities

• Work under the direct supervision of a Registered Pharmacist to fill prescriptions, prepare non-sterile compounds, and prepare IV medications.
• Prepackage medications for dispensing in accordance with pharmacy standards and government regulations.
• Assist the Pharmacist with the final checking of filled prescriptions.
• Prepare medications for packaging after Pharmacist approval.
• Coordinate accurate and timely medication delivery to customers.
• Assist Pharmacy Management with inventory control, including receiving and rotating medications and supplies.
• Record medication lot numbers and expiration dates and assist with physical inventory counts.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Check pharmacy equipment for proper calibration, safety, and cleanliness in coordination with the Technician Supervisor.

Work Schedule

• Monday–Friday: 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM.
• Potentially every other weekend: 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM.
• Employees covering weekends will receive day(s) off during the corresponding week.
