Regional Training Coach

Position Summary 

The Regional Training Coach (RTC) supports the development and performance of Field Sales Representatives through training, coaching, and field support. This role partners closely with Sales and Training leadership to reinforce sales best practices, identify skill gaps, and drive measurable performance improvements while delivering a best-in-class experience for merchants and their customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver sales training programs aligned with company strategies, processes, and compliance standards.
• Coach Field Sales Representatives on sales effectiveness, merchant engagement, time management, and process execution.
• Conduct field ride-alongs and provide real-time coaching and feedback.
• Facilitate one-on-one and group coaching sessions to improve performance and drive results.
• Analyze performance metrics to identify development opportunities and create targeted coaching plans.
• Partner with Sales leadership to reinforce training concepts and best practices.
• Track participant progress and provide regular updates on training effectiveness.
• Serve as a subject matter expert on AFF products, processes, and sales methodology.
• Assist with the development and maintenance of training materials, playbooks, and best-practice guides.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in sales training, coaching, leadership, or a related role.
• Proven ability to develop and motivate high-performing sales professionals.
• Strong knowledge of sales methodologies and coaching techniques.
• Excellent presentation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Ability to travel up to 75%, including overnight travel.
• Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and current auto insurance.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical activities associated with field travel.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
• Experience with CRM and sales enablement tools.
• Knowledge of adult learning principles and training development.
• Experience in consumer finance, financial services, or retail sales.
