Air Logistics – Export Specialist

Location: Mendota Heights, MN 55120
Pay: $24.00–$26.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM–4:00 PM onsite

Your Role:

The main role of the Air Logistics Export Specialist is the coordination of all aspects of the export process (including, but not limited to, customer communications and relationship building, daily air logistics operations, backup coverage, rate quotation, financial auditing and data entry). 

Responsibilities:

• Drive the company experience with all customers, especially by developing relationships with customers through regular communication written and verbal, especially proactively 
• Participate in month end accounting closure  
• Liaison for customers to other branches and teams 
• When process gaps from other parties occur, issue TIPs 
• Manage customer claims for damages and lost cargo, work with insurance (Nacora) 
• Work closely with Air Process Manager and System Administrator to improve automation and efficiency 
• Develop and execute your own innovations and continuous improvements to streamline processes and improve customer satisfaction  
• Utilize CareLOG for shipment tracking and monitoring 

Minimum Experience:

• Collee degree preferred, not required 
• Knowledge of freight forwarding operations, shipment processes, standard operating procedures, and regulatory compliance requirements.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and other computer-based business applications.
• Ability to quickly learn and utilize internal transportation and logistics software platforms.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
