Home Care Aide 6 and 8 Hour Shifts Available

TRUCARING INC is looking for compassionate and dedicated Home Care Aides to join our growing team in Fort Wayne, IN! We have flexible 6 and 8 hour shifts available, making this a great opportunity for caregivers who want meaningful work that fits their schedule. If you have a passion for helping others and making a real difference in people's lives, we want to hear from you!  Bonus if you have The Skill-Coach, also known as a Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) experience, provides essential support and supervision to clients in a residential behavioral health setting. This role helps maintain a safe, structured, and therapeutic environment by monitoring client behavior, assisting with daily routines, and reinforcing recovery-oriented care. Recovery Coaches serve as role models and support systems during clients’ treatment journey.

Responsibilities:

• Provide personal care assistance including bathing, grooming, and dressing for clients in their homes
• Assist clients with mobility, transfers, and ambulation to ensure safety and comfort
• Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as needed
• Perform light housekeeping duties including laundry, cleaning, and tidying living spaces
• Monitor and report changes in client health, behavior, or condition to supervisors
• Provide companionship and emotional support to promote client well-being
• Assist with medication reminders and follow individualized care plans

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Home Care Aide, CNA, caregiver, or in a related healthcare role preferred
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to travel to client homes
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
• Strong communication skills and a compassionate, patient demeanor
• Ability to work independently and follow detailed care plans
• Physical ability to assist with lifting, transfers, and mobility support
• Availability for 6 or 8 hour shifts, including possible evenings or weekends
