Full-Time, In office Monday through Friday

Salary Range: $80k -105k

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Manager to lead and oversee our accounts payable department. This individual will manage a team of six, ensure accurate and timely invoice processing and payments, maintain strong vendor relationships, and support the company's overall accounting operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily accounts payable operations, including invoice processing, approvals, and check disbursements.
• Lead, train, and develop a team of six A/P professionals.
• Monitor A/P aging, resolve outstanding invoices, and ensure timely vendor payments.
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve payment discrepancies.
• Maintain internal controls, procedures, and compliance with company policies.
• Manage cash requirements, check registers, and Positive Pay.
• Coordinate tax payments, lien waivers, and vendor credit applications.
• Partner with project managers, operations, and accounting personnel to support business needs.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, including at least 1 year of leadership experience.
• Strong knowledge of accounts payable processes, internal controls, and cash management.
• Advanced Excel and Microsoft Office skills.
• Experience with accounting software; Timberline/Sage and TimberScan experience preferred.
• Excellent organizational, analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Experience in Group Life and Health more specifically in medical stop loss highly preferred.
