Role Summary
The Shipping Manager will run day-to-day shipping operations for an ISO certified custom sheet metal manufacturer. You'll lead a team of 4, keep outbound orders accurate and on time, and manage shipping data in the company's ERP system.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, schedule, and coordinate a team of 4 shipping employees
• Oversee outbound shipments, from order picking and packing through carrier pickup
• Operate a Hi-Lo/forklift to load, unload, and move materials as needed
• Enter and track shipping, inventory, and order data in the ERP/QuickBooks system
• Maintain an organized, safe, and efficient shipping area
• Meet shipping deadlines and adjust priorities as volume shifts

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of Shipping and Receiving experience in the manufacturing field
• Prior experience managing or leading a team
• Experience with ERP software systems (QuickBooks preferred but not required)
• Hi-Lo/forklift experience required
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Solid computer skills (Microsoft Office, data entry, system navigation)
• Must be US citizen

Nice to Have

• Experience with carriers/freight (UPS, FedEx, LTL)
• OSHA or forklift certification
