Journeyman Electrician

RD Electric is looking for an experienced Journeyman Electrician who can take ownership of a job from start to finish. We need someone who can work independently, solve problems in the field, communicate professionally with customers, and deliver quality work without constant oversight.

We are looking for an experienced electrician who can independently manage jobs, prioritize work, and follow through on commitments. The ideal candidate will have strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, demonstrate sound judgment in the field, and take pride in delivering quality workmanship. Attention to detail, safe work practices, and professional communication with customers, apprentices, and coworkers are essential. This individual should be comfortable taking ownership of job outcomes, managing timelines, and maintaining an organized and efficient jobsite.

We are a locally owned electrical contractor serving residential, commercial, and service customers throughout the Lewis Clark Valley and surrounding areas. $35 - $45 hourly

• Independently lead and complete residential, commercial, and service electrical projects

• Install, maintain, repair, and troubleshoot electrical systems

• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams

• Perform service upgrades, panel changes, and device installations

• Plan daily work, coordinate jobsite needs, and communicate project progress and concerns

• Provide professional customer service and represent RD Electric well in the field

• Mentor and guide apprentices while maintaining safe, clean, organized job sites

• Complete required daily logs, inspection records, and other job documentation

• Valid Washington 01 Journeyman Electrician license

• Valid Idaho Journeyman Electrician license

• Experience working as a journeyman electrician, including residential and commercial electrical work

• Working knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local regulatory requirements

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
