GFL Environmental is looking to add experienced Local CDL Drivers to its team in Sparta, WI. This position offers local routes, consistent hours, and the opportunity to be home every day.
Drivers will operate either Front Load or Roll Off trucks, servicing commercial and industrial customers throughout the Sparta area.
Job ResponsibilitiesOperate Front Load or Roll Off trucks on assigned local routes.
Pick up, transport, and dispose of waste and recyclable materials.
Service commercial and industrial customers throughout the surrounding area.
Safely operate trucks and equipment while following DOT regulations.
Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
Maintain accurate route and service records.
Communicate with dispatch regarding route updates or customer needs.
Valid Class A or Class B CDL.
Previous commercial driving experience preferred.
Front Load, Roll Off, or waste industry experience is a plus.
Strong commitment to safety and customer service.
Ability to operate equipment safely and complete assigned routes.
Good driving record and ability to meet DOT requirements.
Full-time, local driving position.
Day shift, Monday through Friday.
Early morning start times.
Home daily.
