If you're someone who takes pride in your work, enjoys staying active, and understands that even the smallest acts of kindness can make a big difference, we'd love to meet you!

  • Following specific feeding schedules, dietary restrictions, and patient care instructions.

  • Providing appropriate enrichment, interaction, and comfort to support patients' physical and emotional well-being.

  • Observing patients for changes in appetite, behavior, activity, elimination habits, or general health and promptly reporting concerns to the veterinary team.

  • Ensuring all patients are handled with patience, compassion, and respect.

Kennel & Hospital Maintenance

  • Cleaning, disinfecting, and maintaining kennels, cages, runs, and animal housing areas in accordance with established sanitation protocols.

  • Washing and sanitizing food bowls, water bowls, and animal care equipment.

  • Changing bedding, washing and folding laundry, and maintaining clean, comfortable patient accommodations.

  • Assisting with the cleanliness and organization of examination rooms, treatment areas, and shared hospital spaces.

  • Properly handling cleaning supplies, disinfectants, and waste materials while following safety protocols.

  • Helping maintain a clean, sanitary, and welcoming environment for patients, clients, and staff.

Inventory & Hospital Support

  • Restocking medical supplies, examination rooms, treatment areas, and other hospital departments as needed.

  • Maintaining organized, clean, and accessible storage areas.

  • Monitoring supply levels and communicating restocking needs to appropriate team members.

  • Assisting with general hospital responsibilities and supporting coworkers wherever needed.

Animal Handling & Team Support

  • Safely handling and transporting animals throughout the hospital.

  • Assisting veterinary staff with appropriate animal restraint when trained and directed.

  • Supporting patient intake and discharge procedures.

  • Ensuring accurate patient identification and following assigned care instructions.

  • Communicating patient observations and concerns promptly and clearly to veterinary staff.

  • Working collaboratively with Veterinarians, Registered Veterinary Technicians, Veterinary Assistants, and other team members to ensure excellent patient care.

  • Comfortable working with animals of varying sizes, species, and temperaments, including dogs, cats, goats, pigs, and chickens.

  • Genuine compassion for animals and commitment to their safety and well-being.

  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions, cleaning procedures, and patient care protocols.

  • Ability to recognize and communicate potential signs of illness, discomfort, or unusual behavior.

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.

  • Ability to work independently, manage assigned responsibilities, and follow directions.

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds independently and perform physically demanding tasks, including prolonged standing, walking, bending, and repetitive cleaning.
