Shift: 6:45 AM - 5:15 PM

Experience:

• 2 years of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

Requirements:

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <50 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• COVID vaccination required for submission. Declinations not accepted.

• COVID booster required after submission. Religious, medical, and personal declinations accepted.

• Flu vaccination required for submission. Medical declinations accepted.

• Anyone who worked as Staff at a facility in this program in the last 12 months cannot be submitted.

• Anyone currently working at a facility in this program cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience:
Must be strong in ortho and eye service lines; minimal eye experience can be accepted but would need strong general, ortho, and GYN experience.
Must be willing to circulate C-sections; we will teach.

Special Requests:
Employment gaps over 90 days must be explained.
Reliable transportation is required; a personal or rental vehicle is strongly recommended because public transportation is not accessible in the area.
Vehicles should be equipped with all-season or snow tires during November–April.

Unit Details:
The role includes circulating and scrubbing as applicable.
Patient population includes adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.
Equipment includes Baxter IV pumps, Mindray monitors, basic general OR equipment, and anesthesia machines.
Respiratory and anesthesia support are available 24/7.
Primary service lines include orthopedic total joints and sports medicine; minor orthopedic trauma (ORIFs of ankles, wrists, and clavicles); cataracts; general cases; podiatry; urology; gynecological cases; and cardiology pacemaker insertions.

Shift & Scheduling:
Schedule flexibility is required.
Schedule may include Monday through Sunday.
Call is required every 4 weekends.
One weekday evening call is required per week, from 1530–0700; evening shifts are not required to take weekday call.
Weekend call includes Friday evening, Saturday, and Sunday.
Holiday coverage is required if applicable, on a rotation with existing staff.
A set day off can be accommodated.
Self-scheduling is not available.

Details:

• AUTO OFFER - NO INTERVIEW: This is an auto-offer position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer. However, an interview can be arranged upon request. All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment. Any offers for this job will require a clear "Yes" or "No" response from the nurse within 24hrs or the offer must be declined.
