Weekend Service Supervisor
The world’s trusted source of non-medical services and home care for seniors seeks an
individual to oversee our weekend on-call operations. Responsibilities include client
schedule management as well as maintaining on-call status for all aspects of our business.
Reliability, excellent communication skills and a strong desire to serve our senior population a must!
The Weekend Service Supervisor is expected to perform a variety of on call
duties. The Weekend Service Supervisor is expected to work closely
with the Staff Coordinator in order to provide the highest quality service to
clients.
Primary
• Arrive at the Home Instead Senior Care office Friday
afternoon and or Saturday morning. Go over weekend schedule and
any trouble spots that might arise with staffing coordinator
• Supervisor will have access to computer and printed schedules
throughout the shift on Saturday and Sunday, 8AM - 6PM.
• During the weekend the supervisor’s responsibilities will include but
not be limited to:
a. Answering all incoming telephone calls and responding to them
as needed
b. Communicate with CAREGivers and clients regarding
scheduling as changes arise
c. Take messages and document all calls so office staff can
respond if necessary Monday morning
d. Contact backup person when questions arise about clients or
CAREGivers that require input from regular office staff
e. Fill in on assignments with clients that come open until a replacement
CAREGiver is found.
• Meet with backup Saturday and Sunday at beginning and end of shift
to pass on any pertinent information from the weekend.
Training will be conducted by Director of Staffing.
Approximate Compensation: $150 - $200 per weekend
- Social Workers, Nurses or Certified Nurse Aides preferred
- Experience with social work for seniors and families
- Ability to perform under pressure while understanding family concerns
- Effective written and verbal communications
- Be able to speak to families with empathy and caring
- Be supportive of caregivers serving clients
- Must have great problem solving skills
- US Citizen or Green Card holder
