We are currently hiring for an experienced Traffic Coordinator in Swannanoa, NC.  Outstanding opportunity – temp to hire position!   Company offers full benefits package with paid vacations. 

Job Description:   Individual will be responsible for coordinating all shipping requirements for the company.                

Pay Rate:  $15.00-$17.00/hour

Shift/Hours:   Varies

Job Requirements:

• Have the ability to multi-task
• Accuracy and a sense of urgency are required to ensure shipments meet required deadlines
• Responsible for all inbound and outbound raw materials
• Coordinate inbound raw materials with Production Supervisor
• Coordinate outbound raw materials with General Manager and Warehouse Supervisor
• Choose the appropriate trucking companies based on freight rates
• Schedule container pickups
• Prepare all necessary paperwork for all shipments
• Coordinate and schedule material moves between warehouse and plant
• Coordinate all LTL shipments with trucking companies and company’s customer service requirements
• Have understanding of computer systems
• Organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Clear and open communication skills and the ability to work well with others
