Overall responsibility
To provide safe, efficient and exceptional service to all valet customers.

Position Requirements

  • Be able to read, write and verbally communicate in English
  • Be able to stand for long periods of time
  • Be able to walk and/or run short and long distances
  • Be able to function for extended periods in all weather conditions
  • Possess the manual dexterity to safely operate manual and automatic motor vehicles and pass a driving test on a manual transmission vehicle
  • Possess a valid Driver’s License in state of residency.
  • Strong sense of customer service
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds
  • Ability to push a minimum of 200 pounds
  • Good driving record
  • Be at least 18 years of age
  • Be able and willing to smile during every customer interaction
  • Maintain uniform standards when around account
  • Be able to pass criminal background check

Key areas of responsibility

  • Vehicle Parking: Safe operation of the customer’s vehicle; Parking of customer vehicles in designated spaces within the designated garage or lot, assessment and documentation of any vehicle damage, recording of parking space location and number on valet ticket, and delivery of keys and ticket to the garage supervisor, and completing key control entry.
  • Vehicle Retrieval: Picking up keys from garage supervisor or upon request, retrieval of said vehicles to the point of request and use of valet parking system devices in accordance with company policy.
  • Customer Service: Make exceptional guest experiences the priority in every interaction, including assistance with opening of vehicle/building doors as required by customers and greeting all valet and non-valet property patrons.

Other Assigned Duties

  • Ensuring Safety and well-being of all employees, customers, and co-workers
  • Maintaining the cleanliness of parking areas by picking up litter in the area and sweeping.
  • Reporting of all incidents in accordance with company policies
  • Any other duties specifically assigned by the Supervisors or Managers
  • Learn all areas of parking operation as instructed by manager.
