QA Chemist

We have a full-time opening for a QA Chemist.

Must be able to work various shifts per week.

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Be authorized to work in the United States.

Wage: Commensurate with experience

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
o Introduction of new analysis into the laboratory. This includes the introduction and/or development of new procedures and making procedural recommendations designed to improve precision and accuracy.
o Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support manufacturing.
o Training laboratory staff on products, procedures, and process changes.
o Utilize advanced knowledge, data, and statistical tools to solve technical challenges related to the business.
o Document, interpret and communicate results to colleagues, sponsors and customers.
o Follow safe laboratory practices.
o Additional duties as assigned.

SKILLS, QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, SPECIAL PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
o B.S. degree in chemistry
o Strong interpersonal skills
o Ability to work independently
o Proven team-player
o Excellent organizational and communication (written and verbal) skills
o Ability and willingness to continually learn
o Requires observational sensory ability, must be able to discern colors, read burettes and have physical capability to operate instrumental analysis equipment
o Fundamental understanding of SAP is a plus
