Laundry Attendant

 

Part – Time/Seasonal

 

 

 

High school diploma or equivalent in appropriate experience and/or certifications.
Experience helpful, but will train.

- Ability to work scheduled hours including when necessary or as part of       your work week, holidays and weekends arriving on time and in uniform.
- Ability to work with others in a team oriented atmosphere.
- Position requires bending, twisting, and lifting a minimum of (30 lbs.)
- Position requires some overhead work.

- Job specific training will be provided.

          - Ability to work weekends and holidays, flexibility to work varied shifts as   

             needed.

 

Locker Room/Housekeeping

 

 

• Participates in the operations by:

-          Empties all wastebaskets and ashtrays in offices

-          Vacuums carpets

-          Washes inside and outside of windows

-          Reports any damage, burned out light bulbs and plumbing problems to the Housekeeping Supervisor.

-          Maintains spray cleaners (window cleaners, disinfectants etc.) at various stations such as each bathroom, bars, service areas off the dining room areas

-          Cleans and stocks locker rooms.

 

Laundry Room

 

 

Position Summary:            Washes, dries and irons all linens and towels.

 

Job Duties:

 

• Serves as a positive role model by:

-          Adhering to the same standards of service and behavior that peers are required

      to uphold

-          Maintaining a positive and friendly demeanor at all times.

-          Working with peers to meet member’s needs.

 

• Participates in the operations by:

-          Empties linen hampers; receives soiled linens

-          Separates and counts linen

-          Loads and operates washers

-          Loads and operates dryers

-          Presses linen immediately after drying

-          Folds and stores linen by type

-          Cleans laundry room and linen room

-          Takes linen inventory periodically and reports shortages

-          Lubricates laundry machines as required

-          Informs or communicates to Housekeeper of laundry supplies as needed
