This position requires extensive and in-depth interaction with patients, co-workers, Insurance companies, Government and State entities, and other Hospital personnel. Registrar II positions require the ability to multi-task by learning other entities of Registration facets. Emphasis on team collaboration, cooperation, and continually improving the accuracy and efficiency of what the job entails.


Employees in this position are responsible for checking in, scheduling appointments, answering billing questions and managing patient medical records for a clinic. Roles may vary based on the size of the clinic(s).

 

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Be knowledgeable with various Insurance products (Medicare-Medicaid, Managed Care, etc.).
  • Ability to identify and address patient issues. 
  • Collect co-pays and deductibles. 
  • Possess excellent verbal and written Communication skills. 
  • Able to demonstrate practical applications of goal setting, quality control procedures and problem solving.
  • Safeguard confidential information.  
  • Prioritize workflow and demonstrate appropriate judgement.

Requirements

Requirements:
  • High School Diploma/GED.
  • 2+ years of experience in Hospital environment.
  • Previous Cash Handling experience.
Assets: 
  • Bilingual fluency with English and Spanish.
  • Knowledge of Medical Terminology.
