Description Summary
The Caption Call Part Time Installer will be a promoter for the Caption Call phone and service within an assigned geographic territory. The Installer will be responsible for installing Caption Call phones, training customers on the features and benefits, finding lead sources and creating referrals for the phone and service.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Install CaptionCall phones and train customers how to use it
Promote the Caption Call service
Find additional opportunities to install the phone in the assigned territory
Create lead generation activities and generate referrals
Attend other corporate events as assigned and participate in the booth
Guide other Caption Call activities and make recommendations for expanding the breadth and reach of the business
Refer additional Installers to aid and support local installations and events
Complete service calls as assigned
Complete required reports and submit invoices and feedback on customer interactions
Qualifications, Education, and/or Experience:
Must be familiar with assistive devices for the hearing impaired
Must be willing to present in front of large and small groups
Must have sales experience and be willing to call on existing partner accounts and be willing to create new partner accounts
Must have a solid understanding and experience with setting up and installing computers, routers, switches and other IP devices.
Must be able to present clearly and be able to adapt to various sales situations and environments
Must be willing to travel when needed
Must be available for workshops and other events on evenings and weekends
Must have a PC and a high speed Internet connection for submitting invoices and receiving assigned customer leads
Communications/Language Skills:
Must be able to communicate in spoken and written English with customers
Ability to Manage (if applicable):
Must be able to manage the process of working with customers to get them to apply for our phone and service, walk them through to the installation, educate them on the service and its benefits, and help troubleshoot.
Physical Demands (if applicable):
Must be healthy enough to drive and travel via air. Must have a vehicle available at all times. May need to be able to get behind a computer desk for access to a modem and run cable.
