TECHNICAL RECRUITER

S·COM, Inc. is currently seeking motivated entry to mid-level Technical Recruiter to join our Recruiting Organization.
This position will introduce the Recruiter to the professional staffing industry and its various daily activities and responsibilities.
Our recruiting environment is a corporate office setting with emphasis on communication and interaction with diverse professional staff.
A successful recruiter must be able to succeed in fast paced environments requiring efficiency, effective time management and cross-regional teamwork in multiple time zones.
As our recruiting department evolves to meet new and changing business needs, the position responsibilities will evolve accordingly.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Support a team of Account Executives in their efforts to identify and place various technical and non-technical candidates.
  • Assist in recruiting, interviewing, references checks, on-boarding and orientation of new employees.
  • Network through industry contacts, association memberships, trade groups and employees.
  • Document and track interactions with prospective candidates within a Candidate Applicant Tracking System, and report findings to senior staff.
  • Work with Senior Recruiters and Recruiting Management during daily recruiting planning meetings, to identify daily, weekly and monthly responsibilities.
  • Research new technologies, and assist in the creation of detailed job descriptions.
  • Post and update job descriptions in approved Job Boards, with professional organizations, and in other position appropriate venues.
  • Review Applicants to evaluate if they meet the position requirements. Document and report your findings to the Senior Recruiting Staff.
  • Conduct Pre-Screening Interviews, and document the potential candidate’s specific preferences such as, availability, rate, location & Citizenship Status.
  • Conduct regular follow-up with submitted candidates to open positions to create a partnership, and source new candidate leads.
  • Build networks to find qualified passive candidates.


Required Skills:
  • Previous Recruiting and/or Sales experience preferred
  • Desire to learn about recruiting & technical recruiting best practices.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong relationship building skills.
  • Must be able to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner.
  • Bachelor’s Degree, or in expectation of a Bachelor’s Degree
