The primary responsibility of the Store Manager is to provide leadership and supervision in all aspects of store operations in order to meet or exceed sales and profitability goals. The specific areas of responsibility include: sales and service management, human resource management, merchandise/inventory management and operations/administration management. He/She exercises strong judgment and demonstrates commitment to the success of the company by positively supporting the company's directives and objectives.

Essential responsibilities include but not limited to:

- Oversees the operations of the entire store.
- Meet/exceed store profitability goals, sales, labor and shrink
- Opens and closes the store as needed
- Delivers exceptional customer service through personal contact with customers
- Sets and maintains planograms
- Stocks and maintains sales floor
- Processes balloon orders

Requirements

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Minimum of High School diploma or equivalent. Three plus years of previous retail management experience required.

INTERPERSONAL SKILLS: Ability to relate to people on many levels (both internal and external). Ability to communicate with people tactfully and with diplomacy and professionalism.

LANGUAGE SKILLS: EXCELLENT written and oral communication skills. Ability to read and interpret general business documents. Ability to effectively present information to customers and staff.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to calculate figures such as discounts, percents, payroll, etc...

REASONING ABILITY: Ability to solve practical problems with customers and staff. Strong initiative and decision-making skills required.

COMPUTER SKILLS: Microsoft skills required.

ABILITY TO MULTI-TASK: Perform tasks simultaneously (i.e. when ringing up a customer, keeps an eye on whether or not associates are greeting customers.)

PROFESSIONALISM: Represents the company in a professional manner regarding interaction with store, team, customers and corporate personnel.
