Restaurant Server (FT&PT)

Successful candidates have a minimum one year prior serving experience in a high volume casual dining restaurant . PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

The following highlights general responsibilities and is not meant to be all-inclusive of the position:

• Convey to guests you are genuinely interested in their satisfaction.
• Maintain a high standard of personal hygiene and grooming habits; explicitly follow the uniform guidelines as outlined in the Associate Handbook.
• Follow with enthusiasm the purposeful hospitality standards as outlined by the company.
• Working knowledge of all food and beverages served in restaurant.
• Help maintain the cleanliness and appearance of the restaurant, specifically tables, side station, service bar, the expo line, etc.
• Participate in controlling costs and minimizing wastes.
• Perform opening, running, and closing duties as designated by the manager on duty.
• Account for all checks issued, checks out with the Administrative Assistant or Manager on Duty in an orderly and courteous manner, and properly claims tips at the end of the shift.
• Seize every opportunity to help out wherever possible above and beyond normal assigned duties.
• Display simple acts of kindness towards fellow associates and guests.
• Share knowledge, ideas, successes, and failures with other associates for the store’s learning, growth and development.
• Helping greet and seat guests, bus tables and help fellow associates.

The Buckeye Hall of Fame Grill is located in the beautiful Grandview Yard and is on the COTA bus line. The pay rate is $3.98 per hour plus tips. In addition to an hourly wage, we offer dining and travel discounts, special offers from our business partners, and discount programs for selected cell phone providers. Additional benefits are available for full time associates, including medical, dental, and paid vacations.
