The candidate chosen for this position will have the ability to provide technical support and perform complex maintenance to production functions to ensure the continuous and uninterrupted flow of work, and the efficient preventative maintenance for production equipment and systems in the plant. Must be able to demonstrate the ability to communicate effectively and project a positive image. The ability to work in a team environment with excellent interpersonal skills is necessary to succeed in this job. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: *Education equivalent to completion of High School. *A.S. in Industrial Maintenance or other technical training/certification. *5+ years of manufacturing maintenance experience, preferably in a technical machine repair function that includes machine preventative maintenance *Previous experience troubleshooting and repairing high speed packaging equipment and PLC driven machinery, preferably in a food production capacity *Advanced knowledge of machine lubrication systems and processes *Advanced knowledge of electrical and chemical hazards and Material Safety Data Sheets *Demonstrated competency in PLC programming and troubleshooting, HVAC, electrical controls and logic, boilers and related food production and packaging equipment. *Excellent mechanical aptitude with strong math, analytical and reasoning skills regarding machinery operation, and possess a good understanding of the relationships between materials, inventory and production requirements. *Strong knowledge of OSHA general industry regulations on electrical safety (lockout/tagout), material handling, hazard communication, machine guarding, confined space, etc. *Strong knowledge of machine parts and inventory control systems, with successful experience using preventative maintenance and work order management software. *Intermediate level of knowledge and experience with Microsoft office products (Word, Excel, Outlook) and basic knowledge of database functionality, computerized preventative maintenance and work order management systems. *Excellent mechanical aptitude with strong math, analytical and reasoning skills regarding machinery operation, and possess a good understanding of the relationships between materials, inventory and production requirements.
